EMERGING MARKETS GROUP (EMG), an independent firm associated
with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, provides international development
consulting services funded by donors such as USAID, Dfid,
CIDA, Global Fund for HIV AIDS, MCC, the European Commission
and the World Bank.
Short-Term and Long-Term Consultants
EMG is seeking short-term and long-term Consultants for an
upcoming USAID funded financial sector project in Armenia.
The project will assist the Central Bank in implementation
of risk-based supervision; improve corporate governance practices
in commercial banks; develop mortgage and insurance markets;
and enhance banks and insurance companies ability to offer
more products and services. The ideal candidates will have
broad financial sector and management experience. Expertise
in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Insurance industry
- Insurance regulations
- Banking regulation, supervision and enforcement
- Non-Banking Financial Institutions regulations and supervision
- Securities market
- Banking MIS/IT
- Mortgage market development
- Banking and insurance markets, including product development
- Corporate Governance
- Accounting and auditing reform
Proficiency in English required; Armenian speaker preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed.
Team leadership and management skills are preferred.
